Application
Rhodium on alumina (Rh/Al2O3) (5 wt. % loading, matrix alumina support, powder) is utilized as a catalyst for the steam reforming of ethanol for use in hydrogen production using molten carbonate fuel cells. Rh/Al2O3 can also be used as a catalyst in the production of hydrogen from sodium borohydride (NaBH4).
