一般說明

甘油是无味无色,具有粘性的甜味液体。它可以是天然来源,也可以来自石化原料。甘油具有广泛的应用,是自然界中最有价值和多功能的化学物质之一。它可用作润肤剂、溶剂、甜味剂,可用于药物配方、化妆品、食品和洗漱品中。它非常稳定,可以在常温下储存;它也无刺激性,对环境没有不良影响。

應用

甘油可用于样品制备和凝胶形成,以用于聚丙烯酰胺凝胶电泳。甘油(5-10%)可增加样品的密度,使样品层处于凝胶样品孔的底部。甘油还用于帮助制备梯度凝胶和作为蛋白质稳定剂和储存缓冲液组分。
