This MEM adapted sub-line of CHO-KI is used in Pertussis Toxin research and for quality control of batch production.

應用

CHO-K1/SF has been used to sequence the microRNA transcriptome and to identify, annotate and profile microRNAs as targets for cellular engineering. It has also been used to determine the pertussis toxin (PT) content of purified Bordetella pertussis fimbriae.

培養基

EMEM (EBSS) + 2mM Glutamine + 1% Non Essential Amino Acids (NEAA) + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).

例行更新培養

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:3 to 1:6 i.e. seeding at 2-5x10,000 cells/cm² using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO₂; 37°C.
