生化／生理作用

天蚕素A可与细胞膜发生相互作用，使其对电解质具有渗透性。因此，天蚕素A在肝细胞癌和淋巴瘤中有助于细胞溶解并最终导致细胞死亡。在转基因水稻中的这种合成型天蚕素A具有抗细菌和真菌病原体的作用。
