5-氨基水杨酸(5-ASA)已用于:

5-氨基水杨酸是适用于ELISA分析的过氧化物酶底物。这一底物产生可溶性的棕色终产物,可在450nm处通过分光光度法读取。使用3 N NaOH可终止反应并在550 nm处读取结果。

生化/生理作用

5-氨基水杨酸(5-ASA)是治疗溃疡性结肠炎(UC)等炎症性肠病的一线药物,具有较高的诱导和维持缓解有效率。5-ASA是柳氮磺吡啶的活性成分,其他成分为糖类聚合物——菊粉。具有抗氧化活性,可减轻组织损伤。5-ASA对于T细胞激活和增殖的预防十分重要。它可负性调节环氧合酶和脂氧合酶通路,减少前列腺素和白三烯的生成。5-ASA可刺激E-钙粘蛋白的膜表达,促进细胞间粘附。
