新绿原酸已被用于:

生化/生理作用

新绿原酸对黑色素的生物合成有抑制作用。因此可用于已收割的果实,防止松念珠菌引起的褐腐病侵染。它还显示了令人印象深刻的抗氧化、抗菌、抗病毒和解热特性。由于新绿原酸具有抗炎活性,在急性和慢性炎症的治疗中具有潜在的应用价值。由于在乳腺癌细胞系MDA-MB-435中发现了生长抑制作用,它可能作为化学预防化合物发挥作用。
