一般說明

三氟乙酸(TFA)是一种有机氟化合物,在有机合成中用作各种酸催化反应的试剂,如环氧化合物开环、仿生环化、Cope 重排和天然产物合成。由于 TFA 的高挥发性、在有机溶剂中的溶解度和酸性强度,其物理化学特性比其他酸更有优势。当 TFA 用作试剂时,由于极高的挥发性,可以轻松通过蒸发分离产物。挥发性较低的酸,如硫酸或对甲苯磺酸,可能需要中和或萃取处理。

應用

三氟乙酸可用作以下反应的试剂:      
  • 用于裂解氮氧保护基团,如 N-、N-苄基氧甲基、苯醚、对甲氧基苯醚、对丁基醚、对丁基氧甲基醚、三苯基甲基醚和二甲基缩醛。      
  • 在 Baeyer-Villiger 氧化反应中与过碳酸钠结合。
  • 芳烃的 C-H 三氟甲基化。

TFA 还可以用作:      
  • 原子转移环化反应和聚合物过程中的溶剂。      
  • 催化剂,在非质子溶剂中通过环己酮肟贝克曼重排法合成 ε-己内酰胺。
