一般說明

Tributyrin-Strips is a differential diagnostic test strip used to differentiate between Branhamella and Neisseria species. The test principle is based on the enzyme hydrolysis of tributyrin. Tributyrin is a simple triglyceride occurring in natural fats and oils. It is hydrolyzed by some microorganisms that do not hydrolyze other triglycerides or fats containing longer chain fatty acids. Tributyrin degradation by microorganisms is indicated by the color change of the acid basic indicator from red to yellow. The result of the reaction is read after 18-20 h.

應用

Tributyrin-Strips are used to differentiate between Branhamella and Neisseria species in water and food samples. They find their application in various sectors such as the food and dairy industry, water industry, pharmaceutical laboratory testing, cosmetic industry, environmental and sanitary testing, clinical diagnostic, etc.
