元素硫存在于30种不同的固体同素异形体中，其中斜方硫是常温常压下唯一的热力学稳定形式。它可溶于许多有机溶剂，生成大量含氧酸。硫的反应性通常很高；元素硫的S8环很容易被许多亲核反应物破坏。大约在100oC下，羟基离子可与S反应。
應用
