General description

Fenpiclonil is a phenylpyrrole fungicide and a structural analogue of the antibiotic pyrrolnitrin found to be toxic to representatives of Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes, and Deuteromycetes.

Application

Fenpiclonil may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in fruits/vegetables and plant samples using different chromatographic techniques.
