General description
Millipore MilliSolve Filtration System - Kit
47 mm, Bottle-to-Bottle Filtration System
The Millipore MilliSolve Filtration System has been designed for the filtration of liquid chromatography buffers and solvents under vacuum. The system uses a 0.45 µm membrane filter to eliminate particles which can shorten column life. Vacuum filtration with the Millipore MilliSolve system also removes a large portion of dissolved gasses from buffers, reducing the risk of air bubbles interfering with LC instruments. With automatic and continuous filtration, there is no need to add liquid into a funnel as filtration progresses. Filtration occurs in a closed system, which is important when filtering hazardous fluids. If open funnel filtration is required, the 300 mL funnel replaces the vacuum cover.
This item is a kit composed of the following items:
(Catalog Number - Description)
XX1614705 - Millipore Ground Joint Flask, 2L, Conical bottom
XX1514702 - Millipore Glass Base and Cap, 47 mm, Glass frit support
XX1614701 - Millipore Glass cover, 47 mm, For use with Millipore MilliSolve Kit
XX1014703 - Millipore Spring Clamp, 47 mm, Aluminum
XT1200000 - Millipore Tubing for Solvent/Buffer, PTFE, 70 cm
XX1014704 - Millipore Glass funnel, 300 mL, 47 mm, Borosilicate, Ground glass seal
ALIGNED05 - Millipore Alignment Guide, 47 mm, 5/PK
Features & Benefits:
• Automatic, continuous solvent and buffer filtration eliminates the need to pour during filtration
• 2L receiving flask includes plug and tubing for storage, eliminating filtered buffer transfer, reducing labor and lessening contamination risk
• Conical 2L flask bottom allows access to all filtered solvent or buffer
Applications:
Mobile Phase Preparation, Buffer Filtration
