Storage and Stability
Maintain dry at -20ºC for up to 18 months after date of receipt. Pepstatin A is soluble in either DMSO or ethanol:acetic acid (9:1) at the concentration of 1 mg/mL. Pepstatin A is insoluble in water as well as aqueous buffer at near neutral pH.
NOTE: Aqueous buffer at a slightly alkaline pH is recommended for diluting the reconstituted solution of either of the above organic solvents. If water or acetic acid is used for dilution, Pepstatin A may precipitate from the solution.
