Application
- Concentration of 1, 3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone in aqueous solutions by sweeping gas membrane distillation: from bench to industrial scale. This study explores the characteristics and applications of 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone (DMI) as a dipolar aprotic solvent, between tetrahydrofuran (THF) and hexamethylphosphoramide (HMPA) (R Abejón, et al., 2019).
- Photocatalyzed iron-based ATRP of methyl methacrylate using 1, 3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone as both solvent and ligand. This paper discusses the use of DMI in green solvent applications, highlighting its dual role as a solvent and ligand in polymerization processes (J Wu, et al., 2017).
- Perovskite solar cells fabricated by using an environmental friendly aprotic polar additive of 1, 3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone. The study showcases the application of DMI in improving the quality of perovskite films for solar cells (L Zhi, et al., 2017).
