General description

Platinum Cobalt Color Standard Solution is gravimetrically prepared using potassium hexachloroplatinate and cobalt chloride hexahydrate in hydrochloric acid. It is manufactured, qualified, and distributed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2008. It is traceable to NIST SRM 930e and has been analyzed using the double aperture method by a high-performance UV/VIV/NIR spectrophotometer in the monochromatic spectral range of 190-800 nm.

Application

The color standard solution can be used for visual comparison or as a calibration standard for instrumental analysis. It can also be used to prepare color reference solutions of different Hazen units.
