General description

A certified analytical reference solution and internal standard applicable for use in butalbital testing methods by GC/MS or LC/MS for applications in clinical toxicology, urine drug testing or forensic analysis. Butalbital is a barbiturate often combined with other medications such as acetaminophen or aspirin for the treatment of pain or codeine for headaches. Trade names of several butalbital combinations include Axocet®, Bucet, and Bupap® with acetaminophen and Axotal with aspirin.
