General description

Ethylenediamine solution is a valuable reagent that can be used in a variety of organic synthesis reactions. It is a versatile solvent, a strong nucleophile, and a catalyst. Application

Ethylenediamine solution can be used as a building block for the synthesis of multi-amine dendritic poly(amidoamine) macromolecules. It is also used as a functionalization agent in cubic ZIF-8 metal-organic framework synthesis. Additionally, ethylenediamine is used for amide functionalization of MWNT/nylon 6, 6 composite nanofibers fabrication.
