General description

Human NCOR2/SMRT, DAD domain, amino acid 395-489, GenBank Accession No. NM_006312, N-terminal ST tag, MW = 39 kDa, expressed in E. coli system. NcoR2, nuclear receptor corepressor, are transcriptional corepressors.

Application

Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors and selectivity profiling.

Physical form

Formulated in 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 138 mM NaCl, 20 mM glutathione, and 10% glycerol.

Preparation Note

Thaw on ice. Upon first thaw, briefly spin tube containing enzyme to recover full content of the tube. Aliquot enzyme into single use aliquots. Store remaining undiluted enzyme in aliquots at -70°C. Note: Enzyme is very sensitive to freeze/thaw cycles.
