Ultima Gold™ LSC Cocktail is a safer line of liquid scintillation cocktails (LSC) designed for a wide range of aqueous solutions. Liquid scintillation counting in radionuclide metrology involves preparing samples which are emulsions of aqueous radioactive solutions in liquid scintillation cocktails. Ultima Gold™ LSC Cocktail technology is an alternative screening tool to alpha spectrometry and gas flow proportional counting.
Application
Ultima Gold™ LSC Cocktail is widely used to measure low-energy radionuclides. Metrology laboratories also use it for the standardization of radioactive solutions.
