Application

Sudan III is a non-ionic fat-soluble dye (lysochrome) that belongs to the class of azo-dye. It is predominantly used for staining lipids, triglycerides, and intracellular lipoproteins. It is also used for coloring textiles, plastics wax, floor polish, varnish, spirit lacquers, externally applied drugs, cosmetics, and contact lenses.[1][2][3][4]
