General description

AB-PINACA 5-Pentanoic acid metabolite is a major urinary metabolite of the synthetic cannabinoid AB-PINACA. Over the past couple of years, clusters of cases of severe toxic effects and deaths related to AB-PINACA use have increased in the United States. This certified reference solution is suitable for use in synthetic cannabinoid testing methods by LC/MS or GC/MS for applications in clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, and forensic analysis.

Application

  • HPLC-UV and GC-MS Methods for Determination of Chlorambucil and Valproic Acid in Plasma for Further Exploring a New Combined Therapy of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.: This study employed the LiChrospher® 100 RP-18 endcapped (5µm) LICHROCART® 125-4.6 column for high-performance liquid chromatography analysis of chlorambucil and valproic acid in plasma. The method facilitated efficient separation and detection, critical for evaluating combined chemotherapy protocols (Lipska K et al., 2021).

  • Application of chemometric approach for development and validation of high performance liquid chromatography method for estimation of ropinirole hydrochloride.: This research utilized the LiChrospher® 100 RP-18 endcapped (5µm) LICHROCART® 125-4.6 column to develop and validate a robust HPLC method for the quantification of ropinirole hydrochloride. The study demonstrated the column′s capability in achieving high sensitivity and precision in pharmaceutical analysis (Fatima S et al., 2019).

  • Determination of retinol and retinyl esters in human plasma by high-performance liquid chromatography with automated column switching and ultraviolet detection.: The LiChrospher® 100 RP-18 endcapped (5µm) LICHROCART® 125-4.6 column was applied in the analysis of retinol and its esters in human plasma. This study showcased the column′s efficiency in separating closely related compounds, essential for accurate biochemical assays (Hartmann S et al., 2001).

  • Rapid, highly sensitive method for the determination of morphine and its metabolites in body fluids by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry.: This investigation leveraged the LiChrospher® 100 RP-18 endcapped (5µm) LICHROCART® 125-4.6 column to develop a sensitive LC-MS method for morphine and its metabolites. The column′s performance ensured reliable detection in forensic and clinical toxicology (Schänzle G et al., 1999).

  • Determination of 13-cis-3-hydroxyretinoic acid, all-trans-3-hydroxyretinoic acid and their 4-oxo metabolites in human and animal plasma by high-performance liquid chromatography with automated column switching and UV detection.: This study used the LiChrospher® 100 RP-18 endcapped (5µm) LICHROCART® 125-4.6 column for the simultaneous analysis of retinoic acid metabolites, highlighting its application in pharmacokinetics and metabolism research (Wyss R et al., 1998).
