General description
The spear shaped tip has been designed for easy piercing of fruit, cheese, meats, etc
Designed for measuring samples with a tough exterior, the InLab® Solids has a "spear" shaped bulb for easy piercing.
The InLab® Solids electrode has been designed with long life in mind. The fine-pored ceramic junction used in conventional electrodes can easily become contaminated when measuring the pH of food samples. In contrast the InLab® Solids electrode with a solid polymeric electrolyte requires no junction at all. As a result these sensors are particularly insensitive to contamination. The reference electrode on these sensors is in direct contact with the measured medium by means of an open junction, hence there is no junction to block.
Service life and measurement accuracy are further improved by the ARGENTHAL™ reference system which reduces loss of silver chloride from the reference wire at differing sample temperatures.
The tough glass shaft resists breakage and makes the InLab® Solids suitable for near process and factory applications.
