General description

Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether is a combustible liquid, which can be used in the synthesis of films, chemically similar to polyethylene glycol on low-density polyethylene and Si(100) surfaces via plasma polymerization and deposition.

Application

Diethylene glycol dimethyl ether may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water as well as fruit and vegetable samples by various chromatography techniques.
