Gene Information

human ... ZEB1(6935)

General description

Zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 1 (ZEB1), also known as Transcription factor 8 (TCF8), Negative regulator of IL2, and NIL-2-A zinc finger protein acts as a transcriptional repressor that inhibits interleukin-2 (IL-2) gene expression. ZEB1 has also been implicated in regulating the expression of ATP1A1, E-cadherin, BCL6, and RCOR1 genes. ZEB1 regulates neurogenesis and neuronal differentiation, but is also implicated in tumor formation. ZEB1 is expressed in heart and skeletal muscle. Mutations in ZEB1 have been associated with corneal dystrophy.

Immunogen

KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human ZEB1 .

Application

Detect ZEB1 using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-ZEB1 Antibody validated for use in western blotting, ICC & Immunofluorescence.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: 20 µg/mL from a representative lot detected ZEB1 in HeLa cells.

MicroRNAs are small and non-coding RNA molecules with the master role in regulation of gene expression at post-transcriptional/translational levels. Many methods have been developed for microRNA loss-of-function study, such as antisense inhibitors and sponges; however, the robustness, specificity, and stability
