General description

MEH-PPV is a semiconductor based conjugated polymer which has good electroluminescence and excellent optoelectronic properties. It has a high quantum yield of fluorescence and it is soluble with most of the organic solvents.
Light-emitting conjugated polymer.

Application

Conducting polymer in solar cells and carbon nanotube OLEDs. Useful in producing bright and efficient white polymeric light emitting diodes.
Filter before application.
MEH-PPV can be used as a conducting polymer in the fabrication of the electronic devices such as:
  • field effect transistors(FET)
  • photovoltaic cells
  • light emitting diodes(LED)
  • sensors for biomedical applications
  • photodiodes
