Tryptic Soy Contact Agar - RT is designed for the determination of the total aerobic microbial count on dry, sanitized surfaces and personnel in the non-critical area and Room Temperature storage.
TSA medium is used for the cultivation and isolation of a wide range of bacteria, yeasts, and molds. The formulation contains a combination of casein and soy peptones supplying organic nitrogen, particularly amino acids and longer-chained peptides. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic equilibrium.
