General description

Fluconazole, sold under trade names such as Trican, Monicure, Diflucan®, and Afungil, is an antifungal drug used in the treatment and prevention of superficial and systemic fungal infections. This Certified Spiking Solution® is suitable as starting material for calibrators, controls, or linearity standards for therapeutic drug monitoring or clinical and diagnostic testing of fluconazole in patient blood, serum, or plasma samples by HPLC or LC-MS/MS.

Application

  • Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination of conjugated linoleic acids and cholesterol oxides and their stability in a model system.: This study employs the Equity-5 Capillary GC Column to determine conjugated linoleic acids and cholesterol oxides, demonstrating the column′s effectiveness in analyzing complex lipid matrices and its utility in ensuring precision and reliability in food chemistry and nutritional analysis (Yen et al., 2010).

  • Comparison of series 5 gas chromatography column performances from a variety of manufacturers for separation of chlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans using high-resolution mass spectrometry.: This research compares the performance of various series 5 GC columns, including the Equity-5 Capillary GC Column, for analyzing persistent organic pollutants. The study underscores the column′s efficiency in environmental analytics, particularly in the separation of complex mixtures of hazardous organic compounds (Fishman et al., 2004).
