PAHs are released during the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels, petroleum production, oil spills and some industrial processes.

應用

Acenaphthene may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in wastewater, soil samples, aviation jet fuel and air by chromatography techniques.
