MacConkey-Sorbitol Chromo Select Agar is recommended for selective isolation of Escherichia coli 0157:H7 from food and animal feeding stuffs. MacConkey Sorbitol Agar is based on the formulation described by Rappaport and Henigh.
準備報告
Suspend 50.1g in 1 litre distilled water. Boil gently to dissolve the medium completely. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Cool to 50°C. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates. If desired add Tellurite-Cefixime Supplement to the molten and cooled medium (50°C) before pouring into sterile petri plates.
