铜三丙基丙胺被广泛用于铜催化的烷基叠氮环加成 (CuAAC) click 反应合成三(3-羟丙基三唑甲基)胺 (THPTA) 和三 [(1-苄基-1H-1,2,3-三唑-4-基)甲基] 胺 (TBTA) 等 Cu (i) 稳定配体。
它也可用于蒽系三足类化合物三 [(9-蒽基苄基-1 H -1,2,3-三唑-4-基)甲基] 胺的合成,作为水溶液中 Ni 2 + 荧光识别的受体。
