Potassium fluoride loaded alumina can be used to catalyze:
  • Dehydration of alkyl and aryl aldoximes into nitriles may be catalyze by potassium fluoride loaded on alumina.
  • Palladium-catalysed reactions to prepare allylic thiol derivatives.
  • N-Alkylation of carboxamides.
