Target description

Cell surface glycoprotein CD200 receptor 1 (UniProt: Q8TD46; also known as CD200 cell surface glycoprotein receptor, Cell surface glycoprotein OX2 receptor 1) is encoded by the CD200R1 (also known as CD200R, CRTR2, MOX2R, OX2R, UNQ2522/PRO6015) gene (Gene ID: 131450) in human. CD200R is an inhibitory receptor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of immune responses. It is primarily involved in maintaining immune homeostasis by delivering inhibitory signals that downregulate inflammatory responses and prevent overactivation of the immune system. Upon binding with its ligand, CD200, CD200R transduces signals that inhibit the activation of macrophages, dendritic cells, and other immune cells, thereby promoting tolerance and preventing autoimmune reactions. CD200R is expressed on various immune cells, including macrophages, dendritic cells, neutrophils, and certain subsets of T cells and B cells. It is also found on some non-immune cells, such as neurons and endothelial cells. The expression of CD200R1 is generally upregulated in response to inflammatory stimuli and during certain stages of immune cell differentiation. CD200R is implicated in various autoimmune diseases, cancer, infectious and neurodegenerative diseases.

Physical form

Purified mouse monoclonal antibody IgG1 in PBS without azide.

Reconstitution

0.5 mg/mL. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Storage and Stability

Store at -10°C to -25°C. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.

Other Notes

Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
