12:0 Lyso NBD PC has been used in the NBD-LPC (7-nitrobenz-2-oxa-1,3-diazol-4-yl - Lysophosphatidylcholine) uptake assays where the fluorescence intensity of the NBD-LPC signal can be measured. It may also be used as a substrate to measure the enzymatic activity of recombinant human lysophosphatidylcholine acyltransferase 3 (rhLPCAT3).
