General description

Azamethiphos is classified under the heterocyclic organothiophosphate group of compounds.

Application

Azamethiphos may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of azamethiphos in:
  • Salmon feed samples by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography combined with traveling-wave ion mobility/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-TWIMS-QTOFMS).
  • Surface water samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and LC coupled to quadrupole-Orbitrap high resolution tandem mass spectrometry (Q-Orbitrap-MS).
  • Fish fillet samples by QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) extraction and LC-QTOFMS.
  • Human serum samples by QuEChERS combined with LC coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS).
