General description

GranuCult® prime KLIGLER Agar is a nutrient rich medium which is designed for the identification of Gram-negative bacteria, mainly Enterobacteriaceae, on the base of their ability to ferment glucose and lactose (carbohydrate fermentation) and to release sulfides (H2S production). The rich carbon and carbohydrate sources like peptone, meat extract and glucose enable rapid growth of microorganisms present in the test sample.

Application

GranuCult® prime KLIGLER Agar is used to identify gram-negative bacteria from the test samples.

Footnote

We offer two media types: the superior granulated GranuCult® and the cost-efficient powdered NutriSelect® culture media, depending on your needs.
The designations basic, plus, or prime are added to indicate the quality control level, from basic quality control to standard QC plus to prime for full regulatory compliance.
