Application

Sulfonated reduced graphene oxide (sodium salt) is a specially designed highly dispersible form of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) salt. This product offers conductive rGO sheets with abundant sulfate groups, making it a versatile starting material for various applications:
  • Sulfonated graphene was reported to show potential as high performance energy materials for high-energy-density Li-S batteries.
  • It is a promising solid-phase acid catalyst that can be recycled after reaction and still maintain its catalytical properties for various chemical reactions including the production of biodiesel.
  • Different types of high performance sensors have been fabricated using sulfonated reduced graphene oxide.
  • The dispersity and the reactivity of the sulfate groups further allow feasible synthesis of crosslinkable functional composite.
