General description

Pallidol, a tetracyclic stilbenoid and a polyphenol, is a bioactive natural compound commonly derived from plants such as Cissus pallida, Chaenomeles sinensis, Gnetum latifolium, Pseudoalteromonas luteoviolacea, Caragana sinica, and Cissus repanda. Current research suggests that this metabolite acts as an inhibitor and may exhibit diverse biological activities, including anticancer, antioxidant, and antifungal properties.
