Application

Listeria Motility Medium is a semisolid medium recommended by ISO Committee for testing motility of Listeria monocytogenes.

Preparation Note

Suspend 29.6 grams in 1000 ml distilled water. Heat to boiling to dissolve the medium completely. Dispense in tubes and sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. Allow the medium to cool in an upright position.
