Biochem/physiol Actions

DC260126 is a FFA1 (GPR40) selective antagonist. In FFA1-expressing CHO cells, DC260126 blocks linoleic acid-induced Ca2+ elevation and ERK phosphorylation (IC50 = 6028 μM), as well as palmitic acid potentiated glucose-stimulated insulin secretion. The compound DC260126 blocks MIN6 β cells from palmitic acid-induced ER stress and apoptosis.
