General description

Yeast and Mold Sampler provides a means for simple, fast and efficient analysis of water samples for yeast and molds. This technique eliminates the cumbersome and expensive hardware and materials associated with traditional testing techniques. The Test Sampler contains m-Green medium for recovery of yeast and molds.

Application

Yeast and Mold Sampler is used to detect the yeast and molds in samples such as Process waters, HP waters, raw material and equipment surfaces

Yeast colonies appear satiny, opaque, white colored or may turn green over time. Mould colonies appear white, green or brown/black and filamentous. Bacterial colonies may appear but are usually smaller and more glistening and transparent than the yeast colonies.
