General description

These screw caps are a necessary equipment for the TOC digestion with our Spectroquant® TOC test kits 114878 and 114879. After filling the Sample into the cells they are closed with the metal caps. Then the cells are tuned upside down and placed in a heating block for the digestion of TOC to CO2. For more information please refer to the respective test instructions.

Application

  • Studies of Labware Contamination during Lipid Extraction in Mass Spectrometry-Based Lipidome Analysis.: This research explores the impact of using screw caps in lipid extraction processes for mass spectrometry, highlighting potential contamination risks and suggesting methodologies for minimizing such risks in analytical chemistry settings (Canez et al., 2024).

  • An improved sensitive assay for simultaneous determination of plasma haloperidol and reduced haloperidol levels by liquid chromatography using a coulometric detector.: Although an older study, this paper details a methodology that uses screw caps in the preparation phase of samples for high-precision liquid chromatography, relevant for chemical synthesis and analytical chemistry (Hariharan et al., 1989).
