General description

HiPrep 16/60 Sephacryl® S-200 HR are prepacked gel filtration column for preparative separation of biomolecules from up to 5 mL sample volume. Sephacryl® S-200 is used for separating midsize proteins including antibodies and serum proteins.

Features and Benefits

  • Maximum recovery and minimum nonspecific adsorption with long-term chemical and physical stability resulting from the hydrophilic, rigid allyl dextran/bisacrylamide matrix.
  • Gel filtration columns for low to medium pressure AKTA systems.
  • Well-established in industrial production.
  • The HiPrep Sephacryl® series offers reproducible separations over a wide molecular weight range.
  • Convenient, prepacked HiPrep Sephacryl® columns speed up protein purification.

Suitability

All commonly used buffers, 0.2 M NaOH, 0.1 M HCl, 1 M acetic acid, 8 M urea, 6 M guanidine HCl, 1 % SDS, 20 % ethanol, 30 % propanol, 30 % acetonitrile (tested at 40oC for 1 week), 0.5 M NaOH (only for cleaning-in-place)
