Culture Medium

RPMI-1640 + 2 mM Glutamine + 10% FCS / FBS

Subculture Routine

Split sub-confluent cultures (70-80%) 1:8 to 1:10 , i.e., seeding at 2-4 x 104 cells/cm2 using 0.05% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37 °C. Population doubling approx 20hrs. At confluence 105 cells/cm2 can be expected.
