General description

Dihydrocodeine, sold under brand names such as Drocode, Paracodin, Hydrocodin, and Fortuss, is a semi-synthetic opiate and opioid analgesic prescribed for pain, severe dyspnea, and as an antitussive. This internal standard is suitable for dihydrocodeine testing or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS for clinical toxicology, forensic analysis, pain prescription monitoring, or urine drug testing.
