General description

Total Lipid Extract is a chloroform:methanol extract of the respective tissue (Brain, Soybean, Heart, etc.). This extract is partitioned against deionized water, and the chloroform phase is concentrated.

Application

Yeast Extract Total is suitable as a reference standard for visualization and separation of the wide range of lipid classes present in biological samples.
