Cell Line Description

Clonal derivative of the T-cell line HUT 78 derived from the blood of a patient with Sezary syndrome. The clone was selected due to its suitability for the isolation and continuous high level production and HIV variants with patients within AIDS and pre-AIDS. Examination with DNA probes indicate identical HLA typing and DNA fingerprints as HUT-78 .
