General description

The innovative ReadyStream® workflow enables convenient production of up to 100 L of pre-heated, TSB media in less than 20 minutes. ReadyStream® Tryptic Soy Broth contains our GranuCult® media and is delivered as a dry media bag that has been irradiated. When installed in the ReadyStream® system (RDYSTRM01), the media is initially reconstituted with sterile filtered water to create a 10x concentration of the TSB media. Subsequently, the ReadyStream® system dispenses and dilutes the media to achieve a 1x concentration. This allows easy preparation of a 10-fold volume of the media stock, i.e., 100 L. Once reconstituted, the bag can be used for 10 days.

Application

ReadyStream® Tryptic Soy Broth is primarily used in the testing of food samples. The product is suitable for the preliminary non-selective enrichment of bacteria, particularly pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae such as Salmonella from food samples, following the guidelines specified in FDA-BAM chapter 5.
