General description

Method: reflectometric with test strips and reagent 0.25 - 1.2 g/l K Reflectoquant®
The Reflectoquant Potassium test includes test strips and all necessary additional reagents and is used used for the determination of potassium ions in drinking water and mineral water, industrial water, wastewater, beverages and soils after sample pretreatment. Potassium ions react with dipicrylamine to form an orange-colored complex that is determined reflectometrically on the RQflex. For pre-testing a sample in an economic and quick way to estimate the potassium concentration and a possible dilution factor prior to using this quantitative method we recommend our semi-quantitative MQuant test strips for potassium. Further quantitative determination methods can be found with our Spectroquant tests.
