General description

A certified solution standard of Naltrexone-3-ß-D-glucuronide, a metabolite of the opiate Naltrexeone. Sold under the trade names Revia, Depade and Vivitrol, naltrexone is prescribed primarily for the management of alcohol or opiate dependence. This analytical reference standard is applicable for use in LC/MS or GC/MS applications such as pharmaceutical research, forensic analysis, clinical toxicology, pain prescription monitoring or urine drug testing.

Application

  • Naltrexone in Opioid Dependence: Investigation into multiple-dose pharmacokinetics of a novel analgesic formula incorporating Naltrexone in dogs provided insights into its potential applications in veterinary medicine and possible implications for human medicine, especially concerning opioid dependence and pain management (KuKanich et al., 2021).

Myelination of projection neurons by oligodendrocytes is key to optimize action potential conduction over long distances. However, a large fraction of myelin enwraps the axons of parvalbumin-positive fast-spiking interneurons (FSI), exclusively involved in local cortical circuits. Whether FSI myelination contributes
