General description

This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantitation of ketamine levels in GC/MS or LC/MS applications from clinical toxicology and forensic analysis to urine drug testing and isotope dilution methods. Ketamine, marketed under trade names Ketanest, Ketaset and Ketalar, is an anesthetic used in human and veterinary medicine. The drug is also abused at clubs, raves, or parties for its noted hallucingenic and dissociative properties and prescribed by some doctors as an off-label treatment for depression.
