General description

ASTM® D5442 Quantitative Linearity Standard consists of mixes of n-paraffins used for determining column resolution, retention times, response factors, and internal standard preparation.

Application

ASTM® D5442 quantitative linearity standard has been used in the gas chromatographic determination of poly-aromatic hydrocarbons and/or petroleum hydrocarbons extracted from crude oil cultures of degrading bacteria like Burkholderia cepacia 2A-12 using hexane as the extraction solvent.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
